Sukta 8
तस्मादमुं निर्भजामोऽमुमामुष्यायणममुष्याः पुत्रमसौ यः
tasmā́d amúṃ nírbhajāmo ’múm āmuṣyāyaṇám ámuṣyāḥ putrám asáu yáḥ ||
Therefore that man do we strip of his portion—him, the son of such an one, the descendant of such an one—yonder he who (stands against us).
ਇਸ ਲਈ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਹਿੱਸੇ ਤੋਂ ਵੰਚਿਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ—ਉਸ ਨੂੰ, ਫਲਾਣੇ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਫਲਾਣੇ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ—ਉਹ ਉੱਥੇ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ, ਜੋ ਸਾਡੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਖੜ੍ਹਦਾ ਹੈ।
