तुभ्यमारण्याः पशवो मृगा वने हिता हंसाः सुपर्णाः शकुना वयांसि । तव यक्षं पशुपते अप्स्व१न्तस्तुभ्यं क्षरन्ति दिव्या आपो वृधे
túbhyam araṇyā́ḥ paśávo mṛgā́ váne hitā́ haṃsā́ḥ supárṇāḥ śakunā́ vayā́ṃsi | táva yákṣaṃ paśupate apsv àntás túbhyaṃ kṣáranti divyā́ ā́po vṛ́dhe
To thee belong the forest’s beasts, the wild game set in the wood; the geese, the fair-winged, the birds, the fliers. Thy wondrous power, O Lord of beasts, within the waters—unto thee the heavenly Waters flow, for thine increase.
ਹੇ ਆਰਣਿਆ (ਵਨ-ਦੇਵੀ), ਜੰਗਲ ਦੇ ਪਸ਼ੂ, ਮ੍ਰਿਗ—ਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਟਿਕੇ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰ; ਹੰਸ, ਸੁਪਰਨ, ਸ਼ਕੁਨ, ਉੱਡਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਪੰਛੀ—ਇਹ ਸਭ ਤੇਰੇ ਹਨ। ਹੇ ਪਸ਼ੁਪਤੇ, ਜਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਤੇਰਾ ਯਕ੍ਸ਼ (ਅਦਭੁਤ ਬਲ/ਸ਼ਕਤੀ)—ਤੇਰੀ ਵਰਧੀ ਲਈ ਦਿਵ੍ਯ ਆਪਃ (ਆਕਾਸ਼ੀ ਜਲ) ਤੇਰੇ ਵੱਲ ਵਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
