Sukta 2
तव चतस्रः प्रदिशस्तव द्यौस्तव पृथिवी तवेदमुग्रोर्व१न्तरिक्षम्। तवेदं सर्वमात्मन्वद् यत् प्राणत् पृथिवीमनु
táva cátasraḥ pradíśas táva dyaúḥ táva pṛthivī́ tavédám ugrór antárikṣam | tavédáṁ sárvam ātmanvád yát prāṇát pṛthivī́m ánu ||
Thine are the four quarters; thine the heaven; thine the earth; thine is this mid-air of the fierce One. Thine is all this that is ensouled—whatsoever breathes, spread abroad upon the earth.
ਤੇਰੇ ਹੀ ਚਾਰੋਂ ਦਿਸ਼ਾਂ ਹਨ; ਤੇਰਾ ਹੀ ਆਕਾਸ਼ (ਸਵਰਗ) ਹੈ; ਤੇਰੀ ਹੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਹੈ; ਉਗ੍ਰ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਅੰਤਰਿਕਸ਼ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਮਾਲਕ ਹੈਂ। ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਤਮਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਸਭ—ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਸਾਹ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਫੈਲਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ—ਉਹ ਸਭ ਤੇਰਾ ਹੀ ਹੈ।
