Sukta 7
यत् परममवमं यच्च मध्यमं प्रजापतिः ससृजे विश्वरूपम्। कियता स्कम्भः प्र विवेश तत्र यन्न प्राविशत् कियत् तद् बभूव
yát paramám avamáṃ yác ca madhyamáṃ prajā́patiḥ sasṛjé viśvárūpam | kíyatā skambháḥ prá viveśa tátra yán ná prā́viśat kíyat tád babhūva ||
What highest, what lowest, and what is middle—Prajāpati created, of universal form: by what measure did Skambha enter therein? what, that he entered not—how great was that become?
ਜੋ ਪਰਮ (ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਚਾ), ਜੋ ਅਵਮ (ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਨੀਵਾਂ), ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਮੱਧਮ—ਉਹ ਵਿਸ਼੍ਵਰੂਪ ਪ੍ਰਜਾਪਤੀ ਨੇ ਰਚਿਆ; ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਕੰਭ ਕਿਹੜੇ ਮਾਪ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਵੇਸ਼ਿਆ? ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਵੇਸ਼ਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ—ਉਹ ਕਿੰਨਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ?
