यमबध्नाद् बृहस्पतिर्मणिं फालं घृतश्चुतमुग्रं खदिरमोजसे । तं बिभ्रच्चन्द्रमा मणिमसुराणां पुरोऽजयद् दानवानां हिरण्ययीः । सो अस्मै श्रियमिद् दुहे भूयोभूयः श्वःश्वस्तेन त्वं द्विषतो जहि
yám abadhnā́d bṛ́haspátiḥ maṇíṃ phā́laṃ ghṛtaścútam ugráṃ khadiráṃ ójase | táṃ bíbhrac candrámā maṇím asurā́ṇāṃ púro ’jayad dānavā́nāṃ hiraṇyáyīḥ | só asmai śríyam íd duhē bhū́yo-bhūyaḥ śváḥ-śvaḥ téna tváṃ dviṣatáḥ jahí
The amulet which Bṛhaspati bound on—a plate, ghee-dropping, fierce, of khadira-wood—for vital force: bearing that amulet, the Moon conquered the strongholds of the Asuras, the golden (holds) of the Dānavas. It yields him fortune indeed, again and yet again, day after day: with that do thou smite the haters.
ਜੋ ਤਾਬੀਜ਼ (ਮਣੀ) ਬ੍ਰਿਹਸਪਤੀ ਨੇ ਓਜਸ/ਪ੍ਰਾਣ-ਬਲ ਲਈ ਬੰਨ੍ਹਿਆ—ਫਾਲ ਵਰਗਾ, ਘਿਉਂ ਟਪਕਾਉਂਦਾ, ਉਗ੍ਰ, ਖਦਿਰ-ਕਾਠ ਦਾ—ਉਹ ਤਾਬੀਜ਼ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰਕੇ ਚੰਦਰਮਾ ਨੇ ਅਸੁਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਜਿੱਤੇ, ਦਾਨਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੁਨਹਿਰੀ (ਕਿਲ੍ਹੇ) ਵੀ। ਉਹ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ/ਲਕਸ਼ਮੀ ਹੀ ਦੋਹਦਾ ਹੈ—ਮੁੜ ਮੁੜ, ਹਰ ਰੋਜ਼; ਉਸੇ ਨਾਲ ਤੂੰ ਦ੍ਵੈਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਹਾਰ।
