सोमस्य भाग स्थ। अपां शुक्रमापो देवीर्वर्चो अस्मासु धत्त । प्रजापतेर्वो धाम्नास्मै लोकाय सादये

IAST Transliteration

sómasya bhāgá sthá | apā́ṃ śukrám ā́po devī́r várcó asmā́su dhatta | prajā́pater vó dhā́mnā́smái lokā́ya sādáye

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Ye are Soma’s portion. O bright Ones of the Waters, O Waters, Goddesses, bestow ye splendour upon us. By Prajāpati’s ordinance—by your own established might—do I seat this man in yonder world (his proper realm).

Translation

ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸੋਮ ਦਾ ਭਾਗ ਹੋ। ਹੇ ਅਪਾਂ ਸ਼ੁਕ੍ਰਮ—ਜਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਮਾਨ ਰੂਪੋ! ਹੇ ਆਪಃ, ਦੇਵਿਓ! ਸਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਰਚਸ (ਤੇਜ, ਕਾਂਤੀ) ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰਾਓ। ਪ੍ਰਜਾਪਤੀ ਦੇ ਧਾਮਨਾ (ਵਿਧੀ/ਆਦੇਸ਼) ਨਾਲ—ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਸਥਿਰ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਸ਼ਠਿਤ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਨਾਲ—ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਪੁਰਖ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਲੋਕ ਵਿੱਚ (ਉਸ ਦੇ ਯੋਗ ਲੋਕ ਵਿੱਚ) ਬਿਠਾਂਦਾ/ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
