Sukta 3
अयं मणिर्वरणो विश्वभेषजः सहस्राक्षो हरितो हिरण्ययः । स ते शत्रूनधरान् पादयाति पूर्वस्तान् दभ्नुहि ये त्वा द्विषन्ति
ayáṃ maṇír váruṇo viśvá-bheṣajaḥ sahasrā́kṣo háríto hiraṇyáyaḥ | sá te śatrū́n ádharān pādayāti pū́rvas tā́n dabhnuhi yé tvā́ dvíṣanti ||
This amulet is Varuṇa, a medicine for all; thousand-eyed, green-hued, golden. It makes thine enemies low beneath thee; going before, smite those who hate thee.
ਇਹ ਮਣੀ ਵਰੁਣ ਹੈ—ਵਿਸ਼ਵਭੇਸ਼ਜ, ਸਭ ਲਈ ਦਵਾਈ; ਸਹਸ੍ਰਾਕਸ਼, ਹਰਿਤ-ਵਰਨ, ਹਿਰਣ੍ਯਮਯ। ਇਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੇਰੇ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਨਿਵਾਂ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ; ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧ ਕੇ, ਜੋ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਦ੍ਵੈਸ਼ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਦਬਾ, ਪਰਾਜਿਤ ਕਰ।
