P
Pratiṣṭhāna

FAQs

It presents Pratiṣṭhāna as an established sacred center where pilgrimage is especially meritorious and spiritually purifying.

It emphasizes tīrtha-yātrā as “mahāpuṇyā” (highly merit-giving) and “sarvapāpapramocanī” (a remover of all sins), highlighting purification through sacred travel and practice.

The verse encourages intentional acts of devotion and discipline—such as pilgrimage—as means to moral cleansing and renewal, rather than remaining complacent in wrongdoing.
