Gāṇḍīva-Nirghoṣa Episode
स तदप्यस्य कौन्तेयश्चिच्छेद नतपर्वणा । एवमन्यानि चापानि बहूनि कृतहस्तवत् | शारद्वतस्य चिच्छेद पाण्डव: परवीरहा,परंतु कुन्तीनन्दनने झुकी हुई गाँठवाले एक बाणसे उनके उस धनुषको भी काट दिया और इसी प्रकार कृपाचार्यके बहुत-से दूसरे धनुष भी शत्रुवीरोंका संहार करनेवाले पाण्डुनन्दनने हाथकी फुर्ती दिखानेमें कुशल वीरकी भाँति छिन्न-भिन्न कर डाले
sa tad apy asya kaunteyaś ciccheda nataparvaṇā | evam anyāni cāpāni bahūni kṛtahastavat | śāradvatasya ciccheda pāṇḍavaḥ paravīrahā ||
କିନ୍ତୁ କୌନ୍ତେୟ ନତପର୍ବ ଥିବା ବାଣରେ ତାଙ୍କ ସେଇ ଧନୁଷକୁ ମଧ୍ୟ କାଟିଦେଲେ। ଏହିପରି ଭାବେ ପରବୀରହା ପାଣ୍ଡବ ଶାରଦ୍ୱତ (କୃପ)ଙ୍କ ଅନେକ ଅନ୍ୟ ଧନୁଷକୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ଦକ୍ଷ ଧନୁର୍ଧର ପରି ହାତର ଫୁର୍ତ୍ତି ଦେଖାଇ ଛିଣ୍ଡି-ଭିଣ୍ଡି କରିଦେଲେ।
