वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights dharmic conduct through ritual reverence: before departing, one honors sacred fires and venerable ascetics by pradakṣiṇā. It also reflects ethical responsibility—placing Draupadī in front suggests deliberate arrangement for guidance, dignity, and protection within a disciplined group.
After completing their stay/interaction, the group prepares to leave. They first circumambulate the sacred fires and the tapas-rich Brahmins, then depart with Draupadī (Yājñasenī) leading. The narration emphasizes that only six individuals rose and left together.
