तत उत्थाय कैकेयी सर्वास्ता: प्रत्यभाषत । प्रेष्या: समुत्थिता श्वापि कैकेयीं ता: स्त्रियो5ब्रुवन्
tata utthāya kaikeyī sarvāstāḥ pratyabhāṣata | preṣyāḥ samutthitāś cāpi kaikeyīṃ tāḥ striyo 'bruvan ||
ତାପରେ କୈକେୟୀ (ସୁଦେଷ୍ଣା) ଉଠି ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରତିଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲେ। ଦାସୀମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଉଠି ଦାଁଡ଼ାଇଲେ, ଏବଂ ସେଇ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀମାନେ କୈକେୟୀଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ।
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights norms of respectful conduct and responsiveness in a royal or formal setting: rising, replying appropriately, and orderly speech among attendants and women present.
A brief scene of conversation is set: Kaikeyī stands up and responds to those present; the attendants also rise, and the women address Kaikeyī, indicating a formal exchange and transition in the episode.
