युधिष्ठिरस्य अर्जुनप्रेषण-युक्तिवर्णनम् | Yudhiṣṭhira’s Rationale for Sending Arjuna and Request to Dhaumya
तत्र कोटिस्तु तीर्थानां विश्रुता भरतर्षभ । कूर्मरूपेण राजेन्द्र हासुरेण दुरात्मना
tatra koṭis tu tīrthānāṁ viśrutā bharatarṣabha | kūrmarūpeṇa rājendra hāsureṇa durātmanā | puṇḍarīkam avāpnoti viṣṇulokaṁ ca gacchati ||
ହେ ଭରତଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ! ସେଠାରେ ତୀର୍ଥମାନଙ୍କର ଏକ ପ୍ରସିଦ୍ଧ ‘ତୀର୍ଥ-କୋଟି’ ଅଛି। ହେ ରାଜେନ୍ଦ୍ର! ହାସୁର ନାମକ ଦୁରାତ୍ମା ଅସୁର କୂର୍ମରୂପ ଧାରଣ କରି ତାହାକୁ ହରିନେଇଯାଉଥିଲା। ତେବେ ସର୍ବଶକ୍ତିମାନ ଭଗବାନ ବିଷ୍ଣୁ ତାହାକୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରି ପୁନଃସ୍ଥାପନ କଲେ। ହେ ଯୁଧିଷ୍ଠିର! ସେଇ ତୀର୍ଥ-କୋଟିରେ ସ୍ନାନ କରିବା ଉଚିତ; ଏପରି କରୁଥିବା ଯାତ୍ରୀ ପୁଣ୍ଡରୀକ ଯଜ୍ଞର ଫଳ ପାଇ ବିଷ୍ଣୁଲୋକକୁ ଯାଏ।
