नित्यप्रभिन्नान्‌ मातज्रानीषादन्तान्‌ प्रहारिण: । अष्टानुचरमेकैकमष्टौ दास्यामि कौरव

Transliteration

dhṛtarāṣṭra uvāca | nityaprabhinnān mātaṅgān īṣādantān prahāriṇaḥ | aṣṭānucaramekaikam aṣṭau dāsyāmi kaurava kurunandana ||

Translation

ଧୃତରାଷ୍ଟ୍ର କହିଲେ— ହେ କୌରବ, କୁରୁନନ୍ଦନ! ଏହାଛଡ଼ା ମୁଁ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଆଠଟି ମଦମତ୍ତ ହାତୀ ମଧ୍ୟ ଦେବି—ଯାହାଙ୍କ କୁମ୍ଭସ୍ଥଳରୁ ସଦା ମଦଜଳ ଝରେ, ଯାହାଙ୍କ ଦାନ୍ତ ରଥର ଈଷାଦଣ୍ଡ ସଦୃଶ ଦିଶେ, ଏବଂ ଶତ୍ରୁମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ପ୍ରହାର କରିବାରେ ନିପୁଣ; ଏବଂ ସେହି ଆଠ ଗଜରାଜର ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକଙ୍କ ସହ ଆଠ-ଆଠ ଅନୁଚର ମଧ୍ୟ ଦେବି।
