प्माक्षी पुण्डरीकाक्षमुपेत्य गजगामिनी । अश्रुपूर्णेक्षणा कृष्णा कृष्णं वचनमब्रवीत्
vaiśampāyana uvāca | pramākṣī puṇḍarīkākṣam upetya gajagāminī | aśrupūrṇekṣaṇā kṛṣṇā kṛṣṇaṃ vacanam abravīt ||
ବୈଶମ୍ପାୟନ କହିଲେ—ତାପରେ ଗଜଗାମିନୀ, ପଦ୍ମନୟନୀ ଦ୍ରୌପଦୀ କୃଷ୍ଣା ଅଶ୍ରୁପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ନୟନରେ ପୁଣ୍ଡରୀକାକ୍ଷ ଶ୍ରୀକୃଷ୍ଣଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଯାଇ, ଶୋକ ଓ ଧର୍ମବୋଧରୁ ଜନ୍ମିତ ବାକ୍ୟରେ କହିଲେ—ଯୁଦ୍ଧକୁ ନେଇଯାଉଥିବା ସଙ୍କଟମୟ ଘଡ଼ିରେ ନ୍ୟାୟସଙ୍ଗତ ପ୍ରତିକାର ଆବେଦନ କରି।
