Sound political and moral judgment should be grounded in dharma-informed counsel and clear reasoning, not in asūyā—fault-finding suspicion. Sañjaya emphasizes that expert, principled advisers can dispel distrust and allow the king to hear the full, reasoned position of Kṛṣṇa and Arjuna.
Sañjaya addresses the king and indicates that two competent, dharma-versed figures will correct the king’s suspicious outlook. He then proposes to present, in their presence, the complete considered view of Kṛṣṇa (Keśava) and Arjuna (Pārtha), situating the discussion within the diplomatic tensions preceding war.
