कर्मणा5<चरितं पूर्व सद्धिराचरितं च यत् । तदेवास्थाय मोदन्ते दान्ता: शमपरायणा:
karmaṇācaritaṃ pūrvaṃ sadbhir ācaritaṃ ca yat | tad evāsthāya modante dāntāḥ śamaparāyaṇāḥ ||
ଯେ କର୍ମ କର୍ତ୍ତବ୍ୟଧର୍ମ ଭାବେ କରିବାକୁ ହୁଏ ଏବଂ ଯାହା ପୂର୍ବକାଳର ସତ୍ପୁରୁଷମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଆଚରଣ କରିଛନ୍ତି, ସେହି ପଥକୁ ଆଶ୍ରୟ କରି ଶମ-ଦମସମ୍ପନ୍ନ, ସଂୟମୀ ପୁରୁଷମାନେ ସଦା ଆନନ୍ଦିତ ରହନ୍ତି।
