जघान सुबहूंस्तेषां संरब्ध: कुरुसत्तम: । ततस्ते शरणं जम्मुर्देवव्रतमिमं भयात्‌

Transliteration

jaghāna subahūṁs teṣāṁ saṁrabdhaḥ kurusattamaḥ | tatas te śaraṇaṁ jagmur devavratam imaṁ bhayāt ||

Translation

କ୍ରୋଧରେ ଉଦ୍ଦୀପ୍ତ କୁରୁଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ ଭୀଷ୍ମ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଅନେକଙ୍କୁ ସଂହାର କଲେ। ତାପରେ ସେ ରାଜାମାନେ ଭୟରେ ପୁଣି ଏହି ଦେବବ୍ରତ (ଭୀଷ୍ମ)ଙ୍କ ଶରଣକୁ ଗଲେ।
