Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Appraisal of Arjuna’s Strategic Supremacy

The verse highlights how morale and perception shape outcomes in war: inner fear can weaken even a large force, while the presence and reputation of a righteous, capable leader (Arjuna, guided by Kṛṣṇa) can psychologically unnerve opponents.
Dhṛtarāṣṭra voices a foreboding assessment that the Kaurava-side Bhārata army will become frightened and disordered upon sensing Kṛṣṇa’s chariot-driving and recalling Arjuna’s prowess, anticipating panic before the confrontation fully unfolds.
