Bhīṣma–Jāmadagnya-saṃvādaḥ
Bhishma’s account of the encounter with Rāma Jāmadagnya
तान्यहं तत्प्रतीघातैरस्त्रैरस्त्राणि भारत । व्यधमं तुमुले युद्धे प्राणांस्त्यक्त्वा सुदुस्त्यजान्
tāny ahaṃ tatpratīghātair astrair astrāṇi bhārata | vyadhamaṃ tumule yuddhe prāṇāṃs tyaktvā sudustyajān ||
ହେ ଭାରତ! ସେ ଘୋର ଯୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଦୁସ୍ତ୍ୟଜ ପ୍ରାଣକୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ଅବହେଳା କରି, ପ୍ରତିଘାତକ ଅସ୍ତ୍ରଦ୍ୱାରା ମୁଁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଅସ୍ତ୍ରକୁ ଅସ୍ତ୍ରରେ ହିଁ ଧ୍ୱଂସ କରିଦେଲି।
