अम्बोपाख्याने तापसानां विचारः तथा होत्रवाहनस्य उपदेशः

भजस्व मां विशालाक्ष स्वयं कन्यामुपस्थिताम्‌ । अनन्यपूर्वा राजेन्द्र त्वत्प्रसादाभिकड्क्षणीम्‌

Transliteration

bhajasva māṁ viśālākṣa svayaṁ kanyām upasthitām | ananyapūrvā rājendra tvatprasādābhikaṅkṣiṇīm ||

Translation

ଭୀଷ୍ମ କହିଲେ— “ହେ ବିଶାଳାକ୍ଷ ମହାରାଜ! ସ୍ୱୟଂ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ଏହି କୁମାରୀକୁ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରନ୍ତୁ। ମୁଁ ପୂର୍ବେ କେବେ ଅନ୍ୟ କାହାରି ହୋଇନି; ମୁଁ କେବଳ ଆପଣଙ୍କ ପ୍ରସାଦକୁ ଆକାଙ୍କ୍ଷା କରୁଛି। ମୋତେ ଧର୍ମପତ୍ନୀ ରୂପେ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରନ୍ତୁ।”
