अम्बाया निर्वेदः तपोव्रताभ्यर्थना च

Ambā’s Despair and Petition for Ascetic Vows

मया शाल्वपति: पूर्व मनसाभिवृतो वर: । तेन चास्मि वृता पूर्व रहस्यविदिते पितु:

mayā śālvapatiḥ pūrvaṁ manasābhivṛto varaḥ | tena cāsmi vṛtā pūrvaṁ rahasyavidite pituḥ ||

ମୁଁ ପୂର୍ବରୁ ମନରେ ଶାଲ୍ୱରାଜଙ୍କୁ ନିଜ ପତି ଭାବେ ବାଛିଥିଲି; ସେମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ ପୂର୍ବେ ଏକାନ୍ତରେ ମୋତେ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିଥିଲେ—ଏହା ଗୁପ୍ତ ଥିଲା, ମୋ ପିତାଙ୍କୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ଜଣା ନଥିଲା।
