भीष्मस्य सेनापत्यप्रतिज्ञा तथा रथसंख्यावर्णनम् | Bhishma Accepts Command and Enumerates Kaurava Strength
अवश्यं च मया कार्य पूर्वेषां चरितं महत् । कर्ता चाहं तथा कर्म यथा नान्य: करिष्यति
avaśyaṃ ca mayā kāryaṃ pūrveṣāṃ caritaṃ mahat | kartā cāhaṃ tathā karma yathā nānyaḥ kariṣyati |
ସଞ୍ଜୟ କହିଲେ—ମୋତେ ନିଶ୍ଚୟ ମୋ ପୂର୍ବଜମାନଙ୍କର ମହାନ୍ ଚରିତ୍ର ଅନୁସରଣ କରିବାକୁ ହେବ। ତେଣୁ ଯୁଦ୍ଧରେ ମୁଁ ଏମିତି ପରାକ୍ରମ ଦେଖାଇବି, ଯାହା ଅନ୍ୟ କେହି କରିପାରିବେ ନାହିଁ।
