Ulūka’s Provocation and Keśava’s Counter-Message (उलूकदूत्ये केशवप्रत्युत्तरम्)
अविज्ञानात् ततः सो5थ डिण्डिकं हुपभुक्तवान् | ततस्ते सहिता: सर्वे मन्त्रयामासुरञ्जसा
avijñānāt tataḥ so 'tha ḍiṇḍikaṃ hy upabhuktavān | tatas te sahitāḥ sarve mantrayāmāsur añjasā ||
ସଞ୍ଜୟ କହିଲେ— ଅଜାଗୃତତାରୁ ସେ ବିଲାଡ଼ି ଡିଣ୍ଡିକକୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ଖାଇଦେଲା। ତା’ପରେ ସମସ୍ତ ମୂଷିକ ଏକସାଥି ହୋଇ ସ୍ପଷ୍ଟ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ପରସ୍ପର ମନ୍ତ୍ରଣା କରିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ।
संजय उवाच
Carelessness born of ignorance leads to preventable loss; therefore one should remain alert to danger and respond through thoughtful, collective deliberation rather than isolated panic.
The cat, unaware of the mice’s alertness (or lacking discernment), eats Ḍiṇḍika too; afterward all the mice assemble and begin to consult together to decide their next course of action.
