इति कुन्ती विनिश्ित्य कार्यनिश्चयमुत्तमम् । कार्यार्थमभिनिश्चित्य ययौ भागीरथीं प्रति
iti kuntī viniścitya kāryaniścayam uttamam | kāryārtham abhiniścitya yayau bhāgīrathīṃ prati ||
ଏହିପରି କୁନ୍ତୀ ଉତ୍ତମ କର୍ତ୍ତବ୍ୟ ବିଷୟରେ ଦୃଢ଼ ନିଶ୍ଚୟ କଲେ। ଇଚ୍ଛିତ ପ୍ରୟୋଜନ ସିଦ୍ଧି ପାଇଁ ଏକ ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତିରେ ପହଞ୍ଚି ସେ ଭାଗୀରଥୀ—ଗଙ୍ଗା—ପ୍ରତି ଗଲେ।
