Kṛṣṇasya Karṇam Prati Sāntvavacana
Kṛṣṇa’s Conciliatory Address to Karṇa
द्रोण उदाच अश्वत्थाम्नि यथा पुत्रे भूयो मम धनंजये । बहुमान: परो राजन् संनतिश्व कपिध्वजे
Droṇa uvāca—Aśvatthāmni yathā putre bhūyo mama Dhanañjaye; bahumānaḥ paro rājan, sannatiś ca Kapidhvaje.
ଦ୍ରୋଣ କହିଲେ—ରାଜନ୍! ପୁତ୍ର ଅଶ୍ୱତ୍ଥାମା ପ୍ରତି ଯେପରି ମୋର ସ୍ନେହ, ତାହାଠାରୁ ଅଧିକ ଧନଞ୍ଜୟ ଅର୍ଜୁନ ପ୍ରତି ମୋର ମାନ। କପିଧ୍ୱଜ ଅର୍ଜୁନ ମଧ୍ୟ ମୋ ପ୍ରତି ଗଭୀର ବିନୟ ଓ ଆଦର ରଖେ।
