उद्योगपर्व — अध्याय १३५: कुन्त्याः कृष्णं प्रति संदेशः
Kuntī’s Message to Kṛṣṇa
अतृप्यन्नमृतस्येव कृच्छाल्लब्धस्य बान्धवात् | उद्यच्छाम्येष शत्रूणां नियमाय जयाय च
atṛpyann amṛtasyeva kṛcchrāl labdhasya bāndhavāt | udyacchāmy eṣa śatrūṇāṃ niyamāya jayāya ca ||
ବାନ୍ଧବଙ୍କ ଠାରୁ ଅତ୍ୟନ୍ତ କଷ୍ଟରେ ମିଳିଥିବା ଅମୃତ ପରି, ତୁମର ସେଇ ଅମୃତସମ ବଚନ ଶୁଣି ମଧ୍ୟ ମୁଁ ତୃପ୍ତ ହୋଇପାରିଲି ନାହିଁ। ଦେଖ—ଏବେ ମୁଁ ବନ୍ଧୁ-ବାନ୍ଧବମାନଙ୍କ ସହ ଉଠି, ଶତ୍ରୁମାନଙ୍କୁ ନିୟମରେ ଆଣି ଦମନ କରି, ବିଜୟ ପାଇବାକୁ ଉଦ୍ୟମ କରୁଛି।
पुत्र उवाच
The verse highlights how rare, hard-won wise counsel can be as precious as nectar, and how such counsel should culminate in disciplined action—restraining wrongdoing and pursuing rightful victory rather than impulsive violence.
A son speaks of having heard exceptionally valuable words from a relative after much difficulty; far from being satisfied, he is stirred to decisive effort, declaring that he will now act with his kinsmen to bring enemies under control and achieve victory.
