Kuntī’s Message to Kṛṣṇa

इसे सुनकर प्रत्येक क्षत्राणी विद्याशूर, तप:शूर, दानशूर, तपस्वी, ब्राह्मी शोभासे सम्पन्न, साधुवादके योग्य, तेजस्वी, बलवान, परम सौभाग्यशाली, महारथी, धैर्यवान्‌, दुर्धर्ष विजयी, किसीसे भी पराजित न होनेवाले, दुष्टोंका दमन करनेवाले, धर्मात्माओंके रक्षक तथा सत्य- पराक्रमी वीर पुत्रको उत्पन्न करती है ।।

etat śrutvā pratyekaṃ kṣatrāṇī vidyāśūraṃ tapaḥśūraṃ dānaśūraṃ tapasvinaṃ brāhmīśobhasaṃpannaṃ sādhuvādakayogyaṃ tejasvinaṃ balavantaṃ parama-saubhāgyāśālinaṃ mahārathaṃ dhairyavantaṃ durdharṣa-vijayinaṃ kenāpi aparājitaṃ duṣṭa-damanaṃ dharmātma-rakṣakaṃ satya-parākramaṃ vīraṃ putram utpādayati || iti śrīmahābhārate udyogaparvaṇi bhagavadyānaparvaṇi vidulāputrānuśāsana-samāptau ṣaṭtriṃśy-adhika-śatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ ||

ଏହା ଶୁଣି ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ କ୍ଷତ୍ରିୟା ନାରୀ ଏମିତି ଏକ ବୀରପୁତ୍ରକୁ ଜନ୍ମ ଦିଏ—ଯେ ଵିଦ୍ୟାଶୂର, ତପଃଶୂର ଓ ଦାନଶୂର; ନିୟମନିଷ୍ଠ ତପସ୍ୱୀ; ବ୍ରାହ୍ମୀ ଶୋଭାରେ ସମ୍ପନ୍ନ; ସାଧୁଜନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରଶଂସାକୁ ଯୋଗ୍ୟ; ତେଜସ୍ୱୀ ଓ ବଳବାନ; ପରମ ସୌଭାଗ୍ୟଶାଳୀ; ମହାରଥୀ; ଧୈର୍ଯ୍ୟବାନ; ଦୁର୍ଧର୍ଷ ବିଜୟୀ; କାହାରୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ଅପରାଜେୟ; ଦୁଷ୍ଟଦମନକାରୀ; ଧର୍ମାତ୍ମାଙ୍କ ରକ୍ଷକ; ଏବଂ ସତ୍ୟ-ପରାକ୍ରମଶାଳୀ ବୀର। ଏହିପରି ଶ୍ରୀମହାଭାରତର ଉଦ୍ୟୋଗପର୍ବର ଭଗବଦ୍ୟାନପର୍ବରେ ବିଦୁଳାଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ରାନୁଶାସନ ସମାପ୍ତ ହେଲା; ଏହା ଛତ୍ରିଶ ଅଧିକ ଏକଶ ପଞ୍ଚତ୍ରିଶତମ ଅଧ୍ୟାୟ।
