सुखं नैवेह नामुत्र लभन्ते पुरुषाधमा: । बेटा! जो इस प्रकार विनयशून्य एवं अशिक्षित पौत्रसे हर्षको प्राप्त होता है तथा उद्योगरहित

sukhaṃ naiveha nāmutra labhante puruṣādhamāḥ |

ଅଧମ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ନ ଇହଲୋକରେ ସୁଖ ପାଆନ୍ତି, ନ ପରଲୋକରେ। ଯେ ଅବିନୟୀ, ଅଶିକ୍ଷିତ, ଉଦ୍ୟୋଗହୀନ, ଦୁର୍ବିନୀତ ଓ ଦୁର୍ବୁଦ୍ଧି ପୁତ୍ର-ପୌତ୍ରଙ୍କୁ ନେଇ ହର୍ଷ କରେ—ଯେମାନେ କର୍ମ କରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ, କଲେ ମଧ୍ୟ ନିନ୍ଦିତ କର୍ମ କରନ୍ତି—ତାହାର ସନ୍ତାନଲାଭ କଲ୍ୟାଣ ନୁହେଁ, ବିନାଶର କାରଣ ହୁଏ; ତେଣୁ ସେ ଇହରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ସୁଖ ପାଏ ନାହିଁ, ପରରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ନୁହେଁ।
