Udyoga Parva — Gandhārī’s Counsel to Duryodhana
विषेण सर्पबन्धैशक्ष॒ यतिता: पाण्डवास्त्वया । सर्वोपायैर्विनाशाय न समृद्ध च तत् तव
vaiśampāyana uvāca | viṣeṇa sarpabandhaiś ca yatitāḥ pāṇḍavās tvayā | sarvopāyair vināśāya na samṛddhaṃ ca tat tava ||
ବୈଶମ୍ପାୟନ କହିଲେ— ବିଷ ଦେଇ, ସର୍ପ-ଯୁକ୍ତିରେ ଦଂଶ କରାଇ, ବାନ୍ଧି ଜଳରେ ନିକ୍ଷେପ କରି—ସମସ୍ତ ଉପାୟରେ ତୁମେ ପାଣ୍ଡବମାନଙ୍କ ବିନାଶକୁ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କଲ; ତଥାପି ତୁମ ସେ ପ୍ରୟାସ ସଫଳ ହେଲା ନାହିଁ।
