इस प्रकार श्रीमहाभारत उद्योगपर्वके अन्तर्गत भगवद्यानपर्वमें गालवचरित्रविषयक एक सौ सत्रहवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ ॥/ ११७ ॥। अपन क्रात बछ। >> 2 अष्टादशाधिकशततमोब<् ध्याय: उशीनरका ययातिकन्या माधवीके गर्भसे शिबि नामक पुत्र उत्पन्न करना

Transliteration

Nārada uvāca: tathaiva tāṃ śriyaṃ tyaktvā kanyā bhūtvā yaśasvinī | Mādhavī Gālavaṃ vipram abhyayāt satyasaṅgarā ||

Translation

ନାରଦ କହିଲେ—ସେହିପରି ଯଶସ୍ବିନୀ ମାଧବୀ ସେଇ ରାଜଲକ୍ଷ୍ମୀକୁ ତ୍ୟାଗ କରି, ପୁନଃ କନ୍ୟାରୂପ ଧାରଣ କରି, ସତ୍ୟପାଳନରେ ଦୃଢ ହୋଇ ବ୍ରାହ୍ମଣ ଗାଲବଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଗଲା।
