ऑपनआक्ाा बछ। अर ग>र्योधिकशततमो< ध्याय: नागलोकके नागोंका वर्णन और मातलिका नागकुमार सुमुखके साथ अपनी कन्याको ब्याहनेका निश्चय नारद उवाच इयं भोगवती नाम पुरी वासुकिपालिता । यादृशी देवराजस्य पुरीवर्यामरावती

Transliteration

Nārada uvāca: iyaṃ Bhogavatī nāma purī Vāsuki-pālitā | yādṛśī deva-rājasya purī-varyā Amarāvatī ||

Translation

ନାରଦ କହିଲେ—ହେ ମାତଲି! ଏହା ‘ଭୋଗବତୀ’ ନାମକ ପୁରୀ; ନାଗରାଜ ବାସୁକି ଏହାକୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରି ପାଳନ କରନ୍ତି। ଦେବରାଜ ଇନ୍ଦ୍ରଙ୍କ ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ ନଗରୀ ଅମରାବତୀ ପରି ଏହା ମଧ୍ୟ ଐଶ୍ୱର୍ୟ ଓ ସମୃଦ୍ଧିରେ ପରିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ।
