भुक्तवत्सु द्विजेन्द्रेष यथावत्‌ सम्प्रदापयेत्‌ । वाचकं भरतश्रेष्ठ भोजयित्वा स्वलंकृतम्‌

Transliteration

bhuktavatsu dvijendreṣu yathāvat sampradāpayet | vācakaṃ bharataśreṣṭha bhojayitvā svalakṛtam, bharatabhūṣaṇa |

Translation

ବୈଶମ୍ପାୟନ କହିଲେ—ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ ବ୍ରାହ୍ମଣମାନେ ଭୋଜନ ସମାପ୍ତ କରିଲେ ପରେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ବିଧିପୂର୍ବକ ଯଥୋଚିତ ଦାନ ଦେବା ଉଚିତ। ତାପରେ, ହେ ଭରତଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ, ବସ୍ତ୍ର ଓ ଅଳଙ୍କାରରେ ସୁଶୋଭିତ କଥାବାଚକଙ୍କୁ ସମ୍ମାନ କରି ଉତ୍ତମ ଅନ୍ନରେ ଭୋଜନ କରାଇବା ଉଚିତ; ତା’ପରେ ଦାନ-ମାନ ଦେଇ ତାଙ୍କୁ ସନ୍ତୁଷ୍ଟ କରିବା ଯୁକ୍ତ।
