तेषां श्राद्धानि देयानि श्रुत्वा भारत भारतम्‌ । ब्राह्मणेभ्यो यथाशक्त्या भक्‍त्या च भरतर्षभ

Transliteration

teṣāṃ śrāddhāni deyāni śrutvā bhārata bhāratam | brāhmaṇebhyo yathāśaktyā bhaktyā ca bharatarṣabha ||

Translation

ବୈଶମ୍ପାୟନ କହିଲେ—ହେ ଭରତବଂଶଜ! ଏହି ଭାରତକଥା ଶୁଣି, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଶ୍ରାଦ୍ଧ ଦେବା ଉଚିତ; ହେ ଭରତଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ, ନିଜ ସାମର୍ଥ୍ୟ ଅନୁସାରେ ବ୍ରାହ୍ମଣମାନଙ୍କୁ ଭକ୍ତିସହ ଦାନ ଦେବା ଉଚିତ।
