Vāmadeva’s Rājadharma: Norm-Setting, Counsel, and the Prevention of Rāṣṭra-Vināśa (वामदेव-प्रोक्तं राजधर्मम्)
साहसप्रकृतिर्यत्र किंचिदुल्बणमाचरेत् । अशास्त्रलक्षणो राजा क्षिप्रमेव विनश्यति
sāhasaprakṛtir yatra kiñcid ulbaṇam ācaret | aśāstralakṣaṇo rājā kṣipram eva vinaśyati ||
ଯେଉଁଠାରେ ରାଜା ସ୍ୱଭାବତଃ ଦୁସ୍ସାହସୀ ହୋଇ ଅଳ୍ପ ମାତ୍ରାରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଅତିକ୍ରମ କିମ୍ବା ହିଂସା କରେ, ଏବଂ ଶାସ୍ତ୍ର ଓ ସୁଶାସନର ଲକ୍ଷଣରୁ ବଞ୍ଚିତ ଥାଏ—ସେ ରାଜା ଶୀଘ୍ରେ ନଶ୍ଟ ହୁଏ।
