अपराधानुरूपं च दण्डं पापेषु धारयेत्‌ । वियोजयेद्‌ धनैर््रद्धानधनानथ बन्धनै:

Transliteration

aparādhānurūpaṃ ca daṇḍaṃ pāpeṣu dhārayet | viyojayet dhanair āḍhyān adhanān atha bandhanaiḥ ||

Translation

ଅପରାଧାନୁସାରେ ପାପୀଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ଦଣ୍ଡ ବିଧାନ କରିବା ଉଚିତ। ଅପରାଧୀ ଧନୀ ହେଲେ ଦଣ୍ଡ/ଜବତି ଦ୍ୱାରା ତାକୁ ଧନରୁ ବିୟୋଗ କର; ନିର୍ଧନ ହେଲେ ବନ୍ଧନରେ ରଖି ହିରାସତ କିମ୍ବା କାରାଗାରରେ ନିବେଶ କର।
