Daṇḍanīti and the King as the Cause of Yuga-Order (दण्डनीतिः राजधर्मश्च युगकारणत्वम्)

संस्थानेषु च सर्वेषु पुरेषु नगरेषु च । मध्ये च नरशार्दूल तथा राजनिवेशने,नरसिंह! इसी प्रकार सभी पड़ावोंपर, बड़े-बड़े गाँवों और नगरोंमें, अन्तःपुरमें तथा राजमहलके आस-पास भी रक्षक सैनिकोंकी नियुक्ति करनी चाहिये

Transliteration

saṁsthāneṣu ca sarveṣu pureṣu nagareṣu ca | madhye ca naraśārdūla tathā rājaniveśane ||

Translation

ଭୀଷ୍ମ କହିଲେ—ହେ ନରଶାର୍ଦ୍ଦୂଳ! ସମସ୍ତ ଶିବିର ଓ ନିବାସସ୍ଥାନରେ, ଗ୍ରାମ-ନଗରରେ, ଅନ୍ତଃପୁର ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଏବଂ ରାଜନିବାସର ଚାରିପାଖରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଯଥାବିଧି ପ୍ରହରୀ ନିଯୁକ୍ତ କରିବା ଉଚିତ।
