कृते कर्मणि राजेन्द्र पूजयेद्‌ धनसंचयै: । दानेन च यथार्हेण सान्त्वेन विविधेन च

Transliteration

kṛte karmaṇi rājendra pūjayed dhana-saṃcayaiḥ | dānena ca yathārheṇa sāntvena vividhena ca ||

Translation

ଭୀଷ୍ମ କହିଲେ—ହେ ରାଜେନ୍ଦ୍ର!s! ଯେତେବେଳେ ଅଭୀଷ୍ଟ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ସଫଳତାରେ ସମ୍ପନ୍ନ ହୁଏ, ସେତେବେଳେ ତାହାରେ ସହଯୋଗ କରିଥିବା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରଚୁର ଧନରେ, ଯଥାଯୋଗ୍ୟ ଦାନ-ପୁରସ୍କାରରେ, ଏବଂ ନାନା ପ୍ରକାର ସାନ୍ତ୍ୱନାପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ମଧୁର ବଚନରେ ସତ୍କାର କରିବା ଉଚିତ।
