Cāturāśramya-dharma—Marks of the Four Āśramas (चातुराश्रम्यधर्मः)
मान्धाता बोले--भगवन्! मनुष्यलोकमें सभी वर्णों तथा चारों आश्रमोंमें भी डाकू और लुटेरे देखे जाते हैं, जो विभिन्न वेश-भूषाओंमें अपनेको छिपाये रखते हैं ।।
indra uvāca | vinaṣṭāyāṁ daṇḍanītyāṁ rājadharme nirākṛte | sampramuhyanti bhūtāni rājadaurātmyato 'nagha ||
ଇନ୍ଦ୍ର କହିଲେ—“ନିଷ୍ପାପ ରାଜନ୍! ରାଜାର ଦୁଷ୍ଟତାରେ ଯେତେବେଳେ ଦଣ୍ଡନୀତି ବିନଷ୍ଟ ହୁଏ ଏବଂ ରାଜଧର୍ମ ତିରସ୍କୃତ ହୁଏ, ସେତେବେଳେ ସମସ୍ତ ପ୍ରାଣୀ ମୋହରେ ପଡ଼ନ୍ତି। ଭ୍ରମବଶେ କର୍ତ୍ତବ୍ୟ ଓ ଅକର୍ତ୍ତବ୍ୟର ବିବେକ ହରାଇଦିଅନ୍ତି।”
