तत्रारण्यकशास्त्राणि समधीत्य स धर्मवित्‌ । ऊर्ध्वरेता: प्रव्रजित्वा गच्छत्यक्षरसात्मताम्‌

tatrāraṇyakśāstrāṇi samadhītya sa dharmavit | ūrdhvaretaḥ pravrajitvā gacchaty akṣarasātmatām ||

ସେଠାରେ ଧର୍ମବିଦ୍ ପୁରୁଷ ଆରଣ୍ୟକ ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ସମ୍ୟକ ଅଧ୍ୟୟନ କରି ବାନପ୍ରସ୍ଥଧର୍ମ ପାଳନ କରିବ। ପରେ ଊର୍ଧ୍ୱରେତା ହୋଇ, ବିଧିପୂର୍ବକ ପ୍ରବ୍ରଜ୍ୟା (ସନ୍ନ୍ୟାସ) ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିବ; ଏଭଳି ସନ୍ନ୍ୟାସୀ ଅକ୍ଷର—ଅବିନାଶୀ ବ୍ରହ୍ମ—ର ଆତ୍ମତାକୁ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହୁଏ।
