ब्रह्मचारी व्रती नित्यं नित्यं दीक्षापरो वशी । परिचार्य तथा वेदं कृत्यं कुर्वन्‌ वसेत्‌ सदा

Transliteration

brahmacārī vratī nityaṁ nityaṁ dīkṣāparo vaśī | paricārya tathā vedaṁ kṛtyaṁ kurvan vaset sadā ||

Translation

ଭୀଷ୍ମ କହିଲେ—ବ୍ରହ୍ମଚାରୀ ସଦା ବ୍ରତଧାରୀ ହେଉ, ନିତ୍ୟ ଦୀକ୍ଷା-ଅନୁଷ୍ଠାନରେ ତତ୍ପର ରହୁ ଏବଂ ସଂୟମୀ ହେଉ। ବେଦର ସ୍ୱାଧ୍ୟାୟ କରି, ଯଥୋଚିତ ସେବା କରି, କର୍ତ୍ତବ୍ୟକର୍ମ ପାଳନ କରି କରି ସେ ସଦା ଗୁରୁଗୃହରେ ବସୁ।
