कीर्तिमांस्तस्य पुत्रो5भूत् सोडपि पठ्चातिगो5भवत् | कर्दमस्तस्य तु सुत: सोडप्यतप्यन्महत् तप:,विरजाके कीर्तिमान् नामक एक पुत्र हुआ। वह भी पाँचों विषयोंसे ऊपर उठकर मोक्षमार्गका ही अवलम्बन करने लगा। कीर्तिमानके पुत्र हुए कर्दम। वे भी बड़ी भारी तपस्यामें लग गये
kīrtimāṁs tasya putro ’bhūt so ’pi pañcātigo ’bhavat | kardamas tasya tu sutaḥ so ’py atapyat mahat tapaḥ |
ବିରଜାଙ୍କର ‘କୀର୍ତ୍ତିମାନ୍’ ନାମକ ପୁତ୍ର ହେଲେ। ସେ ମଧ୍ୟ ପଞ୍ଚବିଷୟକୁ ଅତିକ୍ରମ କରି ମୋକ୍ଷମାର୍ଗକୁ ହିଁ ଆଶ୍ରୟ କଲେ। କୀର୍ତ୍ତିମାନଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର କର୍ଦମ; ସେ ମଧ୍ୟ ମହାତପସ୍ୟା କଲେ।
