Chapter 57: Constant Royal Vigilance, Primacy of Protection, and Principles of Dismissal
न हिंस्यात् परवित्तानि देयं काले च दापयेत् । विक्रान्त: सत्यवाक् क्षान्तो नृपो न चलते पथ:
na hiṁsyāt paravittāni deyaṁ kāle ca dāpayet | vikrāntaḥ satyavāk kṣānto nṛpo na calate pathaḥ ||
ରାଜା ଅନ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ଧନକୁ କ୍ଷତି କିମ୍ବା ନାଶ କରିବା ଉଚିତ୍ ନୁହେଁ; ଯାହା ଯାହାଙ୍କୁ ଦେବାକୁ ଥାଏ, ତାହା ସମୟରେ ଦେବାର ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା କରିବା ଉଚିତ୍। ଯେ ରାଜା ପରାକ୍ରମୀ, ସତ୍ୟଭାଷୀ ଓ କ୍ଷମାଶୀଳ, ସେ ରାଜଧର୍ମର ସତ୍ପଥରୁ କେବେ ଭ୍ରଷ୍ଟ ହୁଏ ନାହିଁ।
