द्विजानां देवकार्येषु का्येष्वन्येषु चैव ह । धौम्यं पुरोधसां श्रेष्ठ नित्यमेव समादिशत्‌

Transliteration

Vaiśampāyana uvāca |

Dvijānāṃ devakāryeṣu kāryeṣv anyeṣu caiva ha |

Dhaumyaṃ purodhasāṃ śreṣṭhaṃ nityam eva samādiśat ||

Translation

ଦ୍ୱିଜମାନଙ୍କ ଦେବକାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଓ ଅନ୍ୟାନ୍ୟ ବ୍ରାହ୍ମଣୋଚିତ କର୍ତ୍ତବ୍ୟରେ ପୁରୋହିତମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ ଧୌମ୍ୟଙ୍କୁ ସେ ସଦା ନିଯୁକ୍ତ କଲେ।
