पुरा मध्याह्नलसमये लोकांस्तपति भास्करे | प्रत्यादित्यप्रतीकाश: सर्वतः समदृश्यत

Transliteration

purā madhyāhna-lasamaye lokāṁs tapati bhāskare | pratyāditya-pratīkāśaḥ sarvataḥ samadṛśyata ||

Translation

ପୁରାତନ କାଳରେ—ମଧ୍ୟାହ୍ନର ଶିଥିଳ ସମୟରେ ଭାସ୍କର ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକକୁ ତପାଉଥିବାବେଳେ, ଦ୍ୱିତୀୟ ସୂର୍ଯ୍ୟ ସଦୃଶ ଏକ ତେଜସ୍ବୀ ପୁରୁଷ ପ୍ରକଟ ହେଲେ; ସେ ସବୁ ଦିଗରେ ସମାନ ଉଜ୍ଜ୍ୱଳତାରେ ଦୃଶ୍ୟମାନ ଥିଲେ।
