त॑ भार्याप्युपचक्राम पादशौचादिभिर्गुणै: । उपपन्नां च तां साध्वीं पन्नग: पर्यपृच्छत,वहाँ नागराजकी पत्नी पैर धोनेके लिये जल--पाद्य आदि उत्तम सामग्रियोंके साथ पतिकी सेवामें उपस्थित हुई। अपनी साध्वी पत्नीको समीप आयी देख नागराजने पूछा --[

Transliteration

tāṁ bhāryāpy upacakrāma pādaśaucādibhir guṇaiḥ | upapannāṁ ca tāṁ sādhvīṁ pannagaḥ paryapṛcchat |

Translation

ସେଠାରେ ନାଗରାଜଙ୍କ ପତ୍ନୀ ପାଦ୍ୟ ଆଦି—ପାଦ ପ୍ରକ୍ଷାଳନ ପାଇଁ ଜଳ ଓ ଅନ୍ୟ ଉତ୍ତମ ସାମଗ୍ରୀ ନେଇ ପତିସେବାରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲେ। ସାଧ୍ବୀ ପତ୍ନୀକୁ ସମୀପେ ଆସୁଥିବା ଦେଖି ନାଗାଧିପତି ତାଙ୍କୁ ପଚାରିଲେ।
