गोमत्यास्त्वेष पुलिने त्वददर्शनसमुत्सुक: । आसीनो वर्तयन ब्रह्म ब्राह्मण: संशितव्रत:

Transliteration

gomatyāstv eṣa puline tvad-adarśana-samutsukaḥ | āsīno vartayan brahma brāhmaṇaḥ saṃśita-vrataḥ ||

Translation

ଭୀଷ୍ମ କହିଲେ—ଗୋମତୀ ନଦୀର ବାଲୁକାତଟରେ କଠୋର ବ୍ରତଧାରୀ ଜଣେ ବ୍ରାହ୍ମଣ ବସିଛନ୍ତି। ସେ ବେଦପାଠ କରିକରି ଆପଣଙ୍କ ଦର୍ଶନ ପାଇଁ ଅତ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଉତ୍ସୁକ ଅଛନ୍ତି।
