नागैः सह ब्राह्मणस्य अतिथिधर्म-व्रतसंवादः | The Brahmin’s Vow and the Nāgas’ Hospitality Appeal
ब्रह्मन! उन्हीं भगवान् परमदेव परमात्माके तीनों लोकोंमें जो देवप्रिय अवतार होनेवाले हैं, उनका सदा ही परम मंगल हो--यही हमारी इस तपस्याका उद्देश्य है
Brahman! Unhīṁ bhagavān paramadeva paramātmāke trīṇi lokēṣu yo devapriya avatāra bhaviṣyanti, teṣāṁ sadāiva parama-maṅgalaṁ bhavatu—ity eṣa asmākaṁ tapasyaḥ uddēśyaḥ.
ନାରଦ କହିଲେ—ହେ ବ୍ରାହ୍ମଣ! ସେଇ ଭଗବାନ୍ ପରମଦେବ ପରମାତ୍ମାଙ୍କର ଯେ ଦେବପ୍ରିୟ ପ୍ରାଦୁର୍ଭାବ (ଅବତାର) ତିନି ଲୋକରେ ପ୍ରକଟ ହେବେ, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ସଦା ପରମ ମଙ୍ଗଳ ହେଉ—ଏହି ଏକମାତ୍ର ଆମ ତପସ୍ୟାର ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟ।
