इत:ः सर्वेडपि गच्छाम: शरणं लोकसाक्षिणम् । महापुरुषमव्यक्तं स नो वक्ष्यति यद्धितम्,हम सब लोग यहाँसे अव्यक्त लोकसाक्षी महापुरुष नारायणदेवकी शरणमें चलें। वे हमारे लिये हितकी बात बतायेंगे
itaḥ sarve ’pi gacchāmaḥ śaraṇaṁ lokasākṣiṇam | mahāpuruṣam avyaktam sa no vakṣyati yad dhitam ||
ବୈଶମ୍ପାୟନ କହିଲେ—“ଆସ, ଆମେ ସମସ୍ତେ ଏଠାରୁ ଯାଇ ଅବ୍ୟକ୍ତ, ଲୋକସାକ୍ଷୀ ମହାପୁରୁଷ—ସନାତନ ନାରାୟଣଙ୍କ ଶରଣ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିବା। ସେ ଆମ ପାଇଁ ଯାହା ସତ୍ୟରେ ହିତକର, ତାହା କହିବେ।”
वैशम्पायन उवाच
When human judgment is uncertain, one should seek refuge in the supreme, impartial Witness (Nārāyaṇa) and receive guidance aimed at true welfare (hita), not merely immediate advantage.
Vaiśampāyana narrates a collective resolve: the group decides to leave their present situation and approach the Unmanifest Great Person, Nārāyaṇa, trusting that he will instruct them on what is beneficial and right.
