Adhyāya 33 — Yudhiṣṭhira’s Post-Conflict Remorse and Inquiry on Āśrama Discipline (शोक-विमर्शः, आश्रम-जिज्ञासा)
तेषामपि श्रीनिमित्तं महानासीत् समुच्छूय: । युद्ध वर्षमहस्राणि द्वात्रिंशभवत् किल
teṣām api śrī-nimittaṁ mahān āsīt samucchūyaḥ | yuddha-varṣa-sahasrāṇi dvātriṁśad abhavat kila ||
ବ୍ୟାସ କହିଲେ—ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଶ୍ରୀ-ସମୃଦ୍ଧିର କାରଣରୁ ଏକ ମହା ଉଦ୍ଗାର, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍ ସଂଘର୍ଷର ଭୟଙ୍କର ବିସ୍ତାର ହେଲା। କୁହାଯାଏ ଯେ ସେହି ଯୁଦ୍ଧ ବତ୍ତିସ ହଜାର ବର୍ଷ ଚାଲିଥିଲା।
