अनामृष्य तत: क्षेपमवैक्षत च पावकिम् | सम्प्रगृह् विशुद्धात्मा शक्ति प्रज्वलितां तदा
anāmṛśya tataḥ kṣepam avaikṣata ca pāvakīm | sampragṛhya viśuddhātmā śaktiṁ prajvalitāṁ tadā ||
ତାପରେ ସେଇ ଆକ୍ଷେପକୁ ଅଗଣା କରି ସେ ଅଗ୍ନିସଦୃଶ ପ୍ରଜ୍ୱଳିତ ଶସ୍ତ୍ରକୁ ଦେଖିଲେ। ବିଶୁଦ୍ଧ ଚିତ୍ତବାନ ଭଗବାନ ସେତେବେଳେ ସେଇ ଦୀପ୍ତ ଶକ୍ତିକୁ ଦୃଢ଼ଭାବେ ଧରିଲେ।
भीष्म उवाच
Even in moments of conflict, action should arise from a purified, steady mind—marked by restraint and clarity—rather than from hesitation, fear, or uncontrolled passion.
The subject (as described by Bhishma) assesses a blazing, fire-like weapon and, with composed resolve, firmly takes up a flaming spear, preparing for the decisive act of hurling it.
